I tried my hand at waxing and wasn’t a big fan of it. One, it hurt. And two, I did not know how to use it properly so it took way too long and didn’t work so well for me.
So, I went on the hunt for a facial hair removal cream that was mild enough for sensitive skin. I have heard many horror stories about using chemicals on your face, and I really wanted to find a way to remove facial hair without the use of a removal cream. But, I could not find anything. So here I was with Nad’s.
What is it?

As the name says, Nad’s Facial Hair Removal Cream is a cream used for removing unwanted facial hair. Rather than using a wax method, you simply apply the cream. Little to no pain. Win-win!
How to use it?
As with any removal cream, do a patch test first. DO NOT skip this step. Most creams recommend that you do the patch test in your inner elbow. Apply the cream as instructed and see what your skin looks like after 24 hours. If you have no reaction, then you are good to go.
24 hours later, I did not see any redness or any adverse reactions. Which was shocking because almost all products I tend to put on my skin cause some sort of redness at the least. But this did not. So, off I went to try it out.
My experience
I applied a thin layer on the areas of interest and left it on for the recommended time before removing. When I removed the cream from a small area on my face, it didn’t remove anything! I was confused. What do I do now? I left it on for the maximum recommended time, and it still didn’t remove anything.
I went to internet to look for answers, and lo and behold, guess what I found. Many people mentioning that they had to leave the removal cream on a little longer than the maximum listed time before they got it to work. So, I let it sit on my face for a little longer before removing it. I had to leave it on for a total of 15 minutes for it to work. That is crazy!
Luckily, this cream did not cause any chemical burns for the amount of time I had to leave it on my face, and it removed the hair from my upper lip and cheeks.
The only thing I didn’t like about this product was after repeat use, my skin began to feel rough and the area near my cheek bones formed this rough bump that still hasn’t gone away. Again, it might be my skin is just too sensitive for this stuff, but I had to find an alternative option once again.
Pros:

- Quick and easy
Cons:
- Had to leave on for 15-20 minutes
- Caused rough skin
- Made skin around cheekbone unsmooth and bumpy
Overall
This was a great product at first, at least for me. I liked the fact that I was able to remove hair pain free. Although, I did not like that I had to leave the product on longer than recommended for it to work. And my skin was not liking the use of a removal cream. So I had to find another product.
